No matter how good your website/blog looks no-one’s gonna stay on the page for long or come back when the content is up to scratch, the best way to write content would be to remember that quality beats quantity, a reader will rather read a page of great content than a hundred page essay that is badly written. Write what you would read, in case you only write a blog to make money then you won’t go far you will give up before you start making some real money.
Among the best places I have found to share my blog and posts on is Facebook and their blog roll called Networked blogs. Lots of my followers are from Facebook and once I post my reviews and giveaways they’re prompted to visit my repost and enter giveaway. This all ties into adding visitors to my website and the above mentioned Google ranking. I also have a special area on my website for followers to follow my site via Networked Blogs to make it easier for them. The easier you make it, the happier your visitors are and more inclined to follow you permanently.
The next approach to drive traffic to your site is to write content using a goal which will compel your visitors to read your articles. Studies have demonstrated that you have about 6 seconds to catch a reader’s attention. Thus, your first sentence needs to hit home to the reader. If you use this article for instance, you noticed that my first sentence is centered on bloggers, so I talk to them personally. I also tried to add a little humor (do not know if it worked though).
Think about a relevant keyword for your online blog. A word or phrase that best describes the content of your blog should be used in the name, and repeated throughout the website, including, significantly, in the first paragraph. Bear in mind however, that if the word is repeated too often, the site will look over optimised. There are no strict rules about how many times your keyword should appear on your site, although as a guideline, if you repeat the key words every 100 words that would provide you a’keyword density’ of 1 percent. Generally, a keyword density of between 1-5% is acceptable. Anything more than 7% would seem to be overly keyword rich and over optimised.
It is thanks to the growth of the blog as one of the internet’s best marketing platforms, that one can create a flow of online passive income, using it.
