Making Money With Blogs In 2009

When I first wrote my original “Why I Hate Blogs” for article submission I was pretty sure that the humor would get some hits but in my wildest dreams I never thought that out of the 26 articles I did write that it would be second in the amount of the hits it did get. Actually it was dark humor because I honestly do hate spending the time blogging away or let us be more specific – I honestly DID hate spending that time.

Nofollow links in a comment do not pass PageRank while dofollow do. Now, there’s an ongoing debate whether nofollow links help SEO. Some webmasters claim that nofollow links do help SEO while other webmasters say otherwise.

In the business world as well as the personal world; blogging became a way to share information fast. The short inserts published were able to reach readers across the globe with the click of the mouse.

You will never make money with your blog unless people can find it. Search engines seem to prefer Look at my profile because they tend to be content rich. It helps to stick to one topic. If your blog serves a niche market, it will have less competition.

Lots more can be said about blogging and how it might help you build your network, but this should give you some initial ideas. Hopefully after reading this you are intrigued by the possibilities and would like to learn more.

Don’t buy the so-called “black hat” blogging software. There are great and legimate blogging software out there that will give you the results you need.

Take as much care writing a pitch for a blogger as you do for a national magazine, TV show, or other outlet. Many bloggers don’t respond because they get blase pitches that treat them like the sewer rat of media. Not cool.
